"I am a rheumatoid arthritis patient suffering from past 20 years.

The problem started as soon as I had just begun my journey as a new mother to my 2-year-old son and it affected my hip joints. The pain was never over in my life but only managed by painkillers.

My walking pattern was changing by each passing day. Walking, sitting, lying down on a firm surface or mattress that’s not soft was an ordeal. Then I had my second child and I had to stop my medications for 9 months which aggravated my situation the day I delivered. The pain and stiffness and weight gain led me to seek help and that’s when I met Dr. Mohini Rawat. From that day onward my journey in finding the true health began.

Every day from that particular day I made progress after each one-on-one intense therapy sessions. During those 1-hour intense therapy sessions she would help me strengthen and mobilize my completely fused hip joints. Within a month of this intense therapy the changes in my movement pattern were significantly visible and I was free from the pain. That made me almost free of the pain that followed me for all those years. Thanks to Dr. Mohini Rawat’s efforts and her belief in treating me. She had always pushed me, motivated me in gaining my lost confidence and reducing pain in my joints.

All thanks to Dr. Mohini Rawat who let me see the normal life and had it not been for her I would have had hip replacement surgery long ago. But her hard work had let me stretch that for 15 years to just recently when my kids are grown up and I am mentally prepared."

I have had therapy with several physical therapists in the past but it was a different experience this time. Mohini has a very kind and compassionate professional manner. We set goals for me to achieve during the session. They were realistic goals which I was able to reach. She took sincere interest in me as a person as well as a patient. She was diligent and efficient in her care.

My many previous experiences with physical therapy cannot be compared to the care I received from Dr. Rawat. I had lost all confidence in the process, but after hearing Dr. Rawat speak about her philosophy, I decided to schedule an appointment. Dr. Rawat’s knowledge and skill far surpass that of any other provider I have worked with, but the one on one personal care and time that she spent with me was beyond any expectations I may have had. When you work with Dr Rawat- you will spend the entire visit with her. She evaluates the issue, creates a treatment plan and executes it with you - one on one, making sure you perform the exercises correctly and understand how they are going to help to resolve your problem. I cannot recommend Dr. Rawat more highly and would never go back to the standard P/T practices.
