Featured in Stroll Chappaqua: Where Expertise Meets Personalized Care

I’m honored to share that my practice was featured as the Partner Spotlight in the July issue of Stroll Chappaqua magazine.

The piece traces why I built Mohini Rawat Physical Therapy the way I did — after two decades working in traditional PT settings, I kept seeing patients get shuffled between providers and sent home without a clear explanation of what was actually going on. I wanted to build something different: one-on-one time with me at every visit, no aides and no handoffs, with advanced diagnostics like musculoskeletal ultrasound and EMG/Nerve Conduction Studies built right into the plan of care instead of requiring separate referrals.

A few things the article touches on that I’m especially proud of:

  • Being the first physical therapist to earn the FAIUM designation (Fellow of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine), alongside co-founding the American Academy of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and authoring a published textbook
  • A patient story close to my heart — a woman who lived with severe hip pain from rheumatoid arthritis for 20 years and, within a month of focused one-on-one care, found herself largely pain-free, postponing surgery by 15 years
  • What drew me back to Westchester to open the Chappaqua practice, and what’s next as I build out a musculoskeletal metrics program for proactive, data-driven care
