Featured in Stroll Chappaqua’s January Issue: Is Your Body Sending Warning Signs?

I’m happy to share that I was featured as the Ask the Expert contributor in the January 2026 issue of Stroll Chappaqua, alongside a business spotlight Q&A about my practice.

The article digs into a signal people tend to overlook: weakness. We’re all quick to notice pain, but subtle weakness — trouble carrying groceries, a shoulder that gives out, fatigue during everyday tasks — often gets written off as normal aging when it can actually point to tendon overload, nerve irritation, or early muscle atrophy. Left unaddressed, the body tends to compensate elsewhere, which is how small issues turn into chronic ones.

The piece also explains why musculoskeletal ultrasound is such a useful tool here: unlike an X-ray or MRI, which only captures a static picture, ultrasound lets me watch muscles, tendons, and joints in motion — so we can find the actual cause of pain or weakness in real time, without the wait for a separate referral.

In the accompanying Q&A, I talk about why I started my own practice — I wanted a model built around the patient-provider relationship, not the red tape and bottom-line pressures that so often get in the way — and share a bit about my move to Millwood, my family, and how painting and sketching feed back into my work (all the anatomical illustrations in my textbook are mine).

My advice for neighbors, in short: don’t wait for pain or weakness to get worse. Understanding why something hurts is what lets you actually treat it — and prevent it from becoming a long-term issue.

If you’re noticing pain, weakness, or reduced range of motion that hasn’t resolved on its own, I’d love to help you get some clarity.
